Privacy Policy

The App

Dashcam Export runs entirely on your Mac. It is a sandboxed application that does not have network access capabilities, meaning it physically cannot connect to the internet or send data to any server.

• Local Processing: All video processing and thumbnail generation happen locally on your Mac. Your footage stays on your Mac unless you explicitly export or save it elsewhere.
• File Access: The app only accesses files you explicitly open or folders you grant permission to.
• Photos Library: Photos access is used only to save your exported videos. Videos saved to Photos can sync through iCloud when iCloud Photos is enabled; the app does not read or analyze your existing photos.

Website Hosting

This website is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Cloudflare may collect standard web server logs including IP addresses, browser type, and pages visited. See Cloudflare's Privacy Policy.

Website Analytics

I use Umami Analytics to understand website traffic. Umami is a privacy-first analytics tool that:

• Does not use cookies
• Does not collect any personal data
• Does not track you across websites or devices
• Processes all data anonymously and in aggregate

All analytics data is self-hosted on infrastructure in Frankfurt, Germany (EU), and is fully owned by me.

Purchases

All purchases are handled by Apple through the Mac App Store. I don't have access to your payment information, billing address, or any other purchase details. Apple handles all of that according to their Privacy Policy.
