Privacy Policy

The App

DashcamExport runs entirely on your Mac. It is a sandboxed application that does not have network access capabilities, meaning it physically cannot connect to the internet or send data to any server.

• Local Processing: All video processing, thumbnail generation, and exporting happens locally on your device using your Mac's hardware.
• File Access: The app only accesses files you explicitly open or folders you grant permission to.
• Photos Library: Access to your Photos library is used solely for saving your exported videos. The app does not read or analyze your existing photos.

Website Hosting

This website is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Cloudflare may collect standard web server logs including IP addresses, browser type, and pages visited. See Cloudflare's Privacy Policy.

Website Analytics

I use Plausible Analytics to understand website traffic. Plausible is a privacy-first analytics tool that:

• Does not use cookies
• Does not collect any personal data
• Does not track you across websites or devices
• Processes all data anonymously and in aggregate

All analytics data is hosted on European-owned, EU-based infrastructure.

Purchases

All purchases are handled by Apple through the Mac App Store. I don't have access to your payment information, billing address, or any other purchase details. Apple handles all of that according to their Privacy Policy.
